Privacy Policy
Introduction
At WHOSYERDAD-E, we believe strongly in protecting the privacy of our Members' personal information. This document explains how WHOSYERDAD-E handles data that identifies you and should be read in conjunction with the WHOSYERDAD-E Terms and Conditions, which this Privacy Policy forms a part.
Service Emails
The team at WHOSYERDAD-E will never send you unsolicited emails. There are some emails that we'll need to send you in order to provide you with a good WHOSYERDAD-E service. These include notifications that you have a message from another member, reminders about your membership expiring and guides on how to use the site. A full list of the types of emails you will receive to help you use the service most effectively (which we call Service Emails) are listed below:

Information we collect
When you register for the WHOSYERDAD-E Service, you provide your name and email address. They are available to you and can be changed through the "My Account" page.
Cookies
We use small files known as "cookies" to enhance Members' experience of the WHOSYERDAD-E Service as follows:
To hold Members' login information so that your homepage with your project and message information is displayed when you visit WHOSYERDAD-E. This option can be turned off by un-checking the "Remember Me" option on the "Home" page.
To facilitate optimal use of the WHOSYERDAD-E Service by Members, a temporary "session" cookie is used. These cookies disappear when the Member's browser session ends, or if the Member clicks the "logoff" link that appears on the WHOSYERDAD-E Service.
Sharing and use of information
We, and (where relevant) our credit card processing agents will not supply your personal data to any third party for commercial exploitation. We will not sell lists of our Members' email addresses to any third party and the only circumstances in which we will provide any of your personal data to a third party for non-commercial purposes are those contained in this Privacy Policy.
Registration Information
The details you provide on Registration are available only to you. Information you enter into the database, however, is searchable by other Members. Information for living individuals is accessible only to you. Your name will be associated with your project and your email address will never be revealed.
Emailing through the WHOSYERDAD-E Service
We do not directly make your email address available to anyone on any screen of the WHOSYERDAD-E Service. The only legitimate way of making contact with a Member on the WHOSYERDAD-E Service is for a Member to enter a message that we will send on the Member's behalf. We will notify the addressee Member, using the email address he/she has provided to us, that WHOSYERDAD-E is holding an email for him/her, and the Member can collect the email when logged in to the WHOSYERDAD-E Service. Members may check and (if required) change the email address we hold for them at any time through the "My Account" page. Members' personal notes must not include their email address. Sent and received emails may appear in a Member's Inbox on the WHOSYERDAD-E Service for an indefinite period - we do not delete them after a given length of time has expired. This does not mean that we will retain your emails forever as there may be some instances when we will need to delete some or all of them for technical or other reasons. In this event, we will endeavour to give you advance warning that we are going to do so.
Advertising
The WHOSYERDAD-E Service may include interactive advertising for other businesses. We may use, and provide to third parties, anonymised demographic data provided by Members to target this advertising more appropriately.
Credit Card information
We use PayPal as our primary payment provider. They operate secure servers to process our credit card payments and encrypt Members' credit or debit card information. PayPal authorise payments directly, which means Members' full credit card details are never revealed to us. PayPal may transfer, process and hold your credit card information in countries other than Australia in connection with performing their duties.
Companies in the WHOSYERDAD-E group
We may share data supplied by you (or collected about you) with our subsidiaries and other companies in our group, but only for the purposes described in this policy.
Changes in WHOSYERDAD-E's business
If all of the assets which WHOSYERDAD-E uses to operate its business (or substantially all of them) are acquired by a third party, we may transfer personal data we then hold to that party so that the acquirer can continue to provide the WHOSYERDAD-E Service.
Place of processing
The personal information held by us is held on and processed by computers situated in Australia.
Security
We have security measures in place to protect our customer database and access to this database is restricted internally. However, it remains each Member's responsibility:
to protect against unauthorised access to Your Details;
to ensure no one else uses the WHOSYERDAD-E Service on that Member's machine while it is "logged on" to the WHOSYERDAD-E Service;
to log off or exit from the WHOSYERDAD-E Service when not using it; and
to keep his/her password secret.
Removing yourself from the WHOSYERDAD-E Service
You may have your registration details removed at any time. To remove yourself, please click on the "Contact us" or "Email us" link and type "Remove Me" in the subject line. We will then remove all your details.
Disclosure for legal reasons
We reserve the right to communicate such of a Member's personal information as we hold to third parties which seek the disclosure of it, and which make a legally compliant request for its disclosure.
Data Retention Period
We will retain your personal data only as long as is necessary for the purposes to which you consent under the WHOSYERDAD-E Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy, or as is required by any applicable law, and then we will delete it.

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, the practices of the WHOSYERDAD-E Service, or your dealings with WHOSYERDAD-E, you can contact us by clicking on the "Contact Us" or "Email us" links. You can also use the same address if you wish to request from WHOSYERDAD-E a copy of the personal data we hold about you or a description of that data. Please note that by law we are entitled to charge you a small sum for providing this information.

The WHOSYERDAD-E Service contains links to other sites. WHOSYERDAD-E is not responsible for the privacy practices, or the content, of those web sites.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
If we change this Privacy Policy, we will notify you of the changed document in the same way as we notify changes to the WHOSYERDAD-E Terms and Conditions.
