Note	The maiden name of Kipling was confirmed by checking the birth record of George Henry at the GRO. Sarah never actually married George Whittaker.
Note	Sarah was probably the partner of George Whittaker. Most trees have her as his partner. There were 2 Sarah's born in 1838 at Mattersey within 6 months of each other. They were first cousins so their grandfather William is definitely a direct Ancestor. It looks like the 2 fathers of the Sarah's who were Robert and Francis married sisters Ann and Elizabeth Otter.
