Note
|
Nancy Weaver 1812/1817 was a much beloved child so William and Rebecca named another daughter Nancy in 1823. There is a family story that when Nancy was about five years old she opened an old trunk in the attic where some dolls belonging to the first Nancy had been packed away. She carried the dolls down stairs and told her mother she had found "her" dolls, she knew the names of each of them - - the names the first Nancy hadgiven them ??? |
