Note	LYDIA STURGILL and her husband Solomon Parsons made their home on a farm on New River at Grassy Creek. In 1813 they bought a farm from John Hash located on Potato Creek in Alleghany County. They lived out their lives here and are buried in a family cemetery on this farm.
