Note

See notes for her father and husband. "Mayflower Families..." says "...
born between 1 Nov 1636 and 31 October 1637 [per age at death]; died in
Swansea 31 October 1693 in her 57th year; [Plymouth CH Records 1:281];
daughter of Thomas and Anna (--) Lettice and widow of Thomas (?)
Shurtleff. ["MF" 6:13]." (This is the Mayflower Families volume about
Stephen Hopkins. It should be investigated)
"Descendants of William Shurtleff" says she died in Swansea, Mass., and
was buried with her third husband in the Swansea Churchyard, which is
now Tyler Point Cemetery, which was in the southern extreme of Meadow
Neck, now known as Howland Meadow in Barrington, R. I. This portion
was set off from Swansea in 1718.
