LYDIA BERTHA Scholz was born at Walla Walla on 13th July, 1889. All her Married life was spent at Sunshine, Gerogery, where she went to live with Daniel Traugott Quast whom she Married at Walla on 2nd October, 1912. Sewing, fancy-work and Gardening were her chief hobbies, which fitted well with life on the farm. He died at Gerogery on 25th August, 1949 and she at Albury on the 5th May, 1967. Both are buried at Walla. Seven children were born of the Marriage, one daughter and 6 sons, including twin boys, one of whom died very soon after birth. |
