PENNICOTT v. PENNICOTT.
John Charles Pennicott, of Oatlands,
petitioned for divorce from Alma Muricl
Pennicott, on the ground of desertion.
He said that up till last year they lived
happily. There were two children. His
wife had bad health for some years, and
wrent to Launceston for massage treat-
ment. She was away seven weeks, and
when she came back she was very cool.
He asked her why this was so, and she
said she was done with him. She said
she had met the man who had broken
up her home ten or twelve years before,
in consequence of which she was
divorced. She said she intended to
stick to this man, and he (petitioner).
could do as he liked, as they had been
living as man and wife. His wife told
him to leave the home, which was in her
name, and take his things with him. He
had not seen his wife since.
A decree nisi was granted, with
custody of two children.
