Note	From the census data, it is obvious that Ann was the illegitimate daughter of Rebecca Mountcastle who later married George Thorpe. She is living with George and Rebecca Thorpe in 1861 as Daughter in law which must be Step Daughter as she is single. In 1851 Ann is with two of Rebecca's sisters and is correctly called their Niece.
