Gershom Flagg was a housewright and a slater by trade, and move
d to Lancaster, Ma before attaining his majority. His father, E
leazer Flagg had purchasedthe "Slate-Rociks" situated four mile
s from Lancaster Center. Gershom married Mary Willard, daughte
r of Aaron and Mary Willard of Lancaster December 6, 1750. Gers
hom Flagg fell and was killed while slating the house of Dr. Gar
dner of Boston. He died December 28, 1758
