He fought in the Pequot War. He was also listed in the draft fo
r King Philip's war.
In the first inventory of land in Watertown he had a homestall o
f six acres, bounded by highway (S) Richard Amler (N) William Pa
rker (E) Miles Ives (W). In addition he held 20 acres of uplan
d in lot 15 of division 1. He was not the original owner.
He served as surveyor and selectman in Watertown and often hoste
d meetings of the selectmen. He got a 10-tree subsidy from tow
n land for setting up his Smithy in 1650

2ndly I give and bequeath to my eldest son John Biglo, and to hi
s heirs and assigns forever, twenty pounds in money to bep'd wi
thin one year after my Deces, and in case my s'd son have an hei
r lawfully begotten of his own body, I give and bequeath his s'
d heir twenty pounds in money to be p'd to him or her, when it s
hall be twenty one years of age, or Day of marriage which shal
l first happen, but if it happon my s'd son deces without an hei
r as above s'd then my will is y't ye above s'd twenty pounds b

3rdy I give and bequeath unto my son Jonathan Biglo and to his h
eirs and assigns forever, twenty five pounds in money to be p'
d him within one yer after my deces.
4th I give and bequeath to my son Daniell Biglo and to his heir
s and assigns forever,twenty five pounds in money to be p'd hi
m within one year after mye deces.
5th I give and bequeath to my son Samuel Biglo and to his heir
s and assigns forever ten pounds in money besides what he hath a
lready had, to be p'd to himwithin one year after my deces.
6th I give and bequeath unto my son Joshua Biglo and to his heir
s and assigns forever two parcels of lands lying on the Westerl
y side of bow brook in s'd town. Purchased of Lieut Chas Hammon
