Note	1709, 22 Jun: Obadiah Spencer Sen, of Hartford, husbandman, wrot e his will.Gave to son Obadiah spencer all that homelot with t he messuage or tenenment,outhouses and appurtenances where he n ow dwells and which "I have formerly given him in a deed of conv eyance." Also the south half of my lot of land commonly call th e Brickhill lot. Gave to son Thomas Spencer all that lot of lan d in the meadow upon the east side of the Great River in Hartfor d, excepting2 acres given to son John, Thomas paying 6 pound s to son Disbrow Spencer.Gave to son Samuel all that messuag e where he now dwells," in the division ofland usually called t he Neck in Hartford, and thenorht half part of my homelot of lan d adjoining to the meadow on the east, he paying 6 pounds to so n Disbrow Spencer. Gave to son Ebenezer Spencer all that lot o f land in the Long Meadow in Hartford, at a place called Hobs Ho le, for which I have formerlygiven him a deed of conveyance. G ave to son John Spencer "all that messuageor tenement wherei n I now dwell, and my barn and outhouses with appurtenances, als o all the residue or south half part of my homelot and barn, yad s andfruit trees" not given to son Samuel; also 2 acres of Mead ow Lot land on theeast side of the Great River.
