He died at Woodlawn, December 4, 1835 and was buried in the War
d lot in St. STephen's Churchyard near the Church. A s tone mar
ks his grave. He was buried beside his wife, Anne Veasey Ward
, who was born April 19, 1766, died October 3, 1826.
