Be queaths the sum of 120 pouns for the onely use of a lawful preac hing minister of the wordof God at RiPonden Chappell that shal l be settled there from time to time. The bequest appears to ha ve been in lands as he goes on to say "My will and mind is tha t the profits of the same landes from yeare to yeare to succeedi ngages, sHall come and be paid to the hands of such minister o r ministers forever. which summe of 120 p9uns I have given i n my life time into the hands of my uncle Joshua Horton, Esq., i ntreating him to bestowe or cause to be bestowed the said money s upon lands in some convenient place to the best profit he can>
