In the Name of GodAmen I Anthony Morss of ye Town of Newbury i
n ye County of Essex. Massachusetts In New England who { } In go
od health & memory thro. ye mercy of God to mee but considerin
g my frailty & mortality Do make this my last Will & Testament _
_ and as to those good things of this world which God hath give
n mee Igive & Dispose as followeth
Imprimis. I give & bequeath to my eldest son Anthony Morss all m
y housing and my land adjoyning to said housing
as also all my land & orchard in ye feild called Pettingales & J
acques feild.
as also mysalt marsh which I bought of Cramm as also all my woo
dlands & freehold & allmy priviledges in Common lands
as also all my Crops & Tools he paying ..... as I sHall order hi
m in this my Will_
2ly. I give to my son Joseph Morss allmy freehold lott overarte
choak in Newbury containeing about thirty acres he paying ten po
unds as I sHall order him in this my will_
also I doe give to myson Stephen Morss my two rate lotte my .
. & of which I bought of Deac. Coffinn
also I doe give & bequeth to my son Timothy Morss ten pounds a
s money
Ido also give to my daughter Sarah Morss ten pounds as money
as also I give & bequeath to my daugt. Eliza. Morss ten pounds a

I do also give to my daughter Mary Morss ten pounds as money
My Will is that my beloved wife Sarah sHall enjoy ye whole shar
e until yt my son Anthony come fully to be of age oftwenty on
e years and I doe also give to my beloved wife all my househol
d goods & pork & cattle to be att her own dispossing & also on
e half ye dwellinghouse which shee pleasoth & also two thirds p
arts of all ye lands ye I have given to my son Anthony so long a
s shee doth remaine my widow for ye bringingup of my children a
lso I doe order & appoint my beloved wife & my son AnthonyMors
s to be Executrix & Executor to this my Will_
my Will is that my children sHall receive ye one halfe of ye por
tions when they are come to ye age oftwenty one years & the oth
er halfe two years after My son Joseph I do order him to pay hi
s brother Timothy the portion and I doe Order & appoint my son A
nthony to pay all ye rest of my children's portions in this my W
ill given Mywill is ye my son Anthony Morss sHall have all my t
ooles for husbandry workalso my Will is ye if my son Anthony sh
ould dye & have no heires of his own body lawfully begotten the
n all ye I have given to him sHall descend to his next eldest br
other & so ... and if any of my children should dye before ye po
rtions are payable then their portions to be equally divided amo
ngst ye restof my surviving children Further I doe Order & Appo
int my Wife Sarah & my Son Anthony Morss whom I have made Execut
rix & Executor so this my Will to payall my honest Debts & als
o to receive all my rights dues and my Grants as also to dischar
ge my Funerall Expenses __ and if my wife should have a child af
ter my decease by me then that child to have an equall portion w
ith one of daughters to be payd by my son Joseph as him as afore
