m where she lived on a farm. She assisted her husband, King, i
n the restaurant businesses and after her separation in 1935 sh
e took up hostess work and worked in many leading hotels in De
s Moines, Iowa City, Davenport, Iowa and Omaha, Nebraska.A
s a hostess she met many interesting people and got the autograp
hs of many famous people. In 1948 she married Bert and becam
e a homemaker. She was active in Des Moines Womens Club and a m
ember of the Grinnell Baptis Church.
