Note	With regard to my Father's family, soon after our arrival at Pal myra, Utah County and early in the hear 1853, my sister Elizabet h went to live with a family by the name of Pollock, feeling a t the time, whether justly or not that she was imposed on by he r step mother. She was then fifteen years of age and no doubt f elt the need of many things to make her comfortable as at that t ime it was very close times for most of the people. This man Po llock had beenin the country for some time previous and was a l ittle better fixed. In thisway, he used an influence with my s ister and she fllishly was inticed by himto become his wife an d to go and live in the same house with his first wife.
