John King senior, farmer died in November, 1810 his wife, Mary h
aving predeceased him in June 1797. He made his will on 16th Fe
bruary 1810 and left all hishousehold goods and furniture and al
l other personal estate and effect upontrust to his executors
. After the end of one year or after his decease to sell the sa
me and to divide the moneys arising therefrom amongst his four s
ons, William Charles, Mark and John, share and share alike. H
e appointedhis two sons, Mark King of Northowram weaver and Joh
n *ing of Midgley, weaver as his executors The will was prove
d on December 21 1810. It may be noted that John King's son Isaa
c, the one who went out to India in 1782 is not mentionedin thi
s will. Whether it may be inferred from this that he was dead o
