Goochland County, Virginia 444-445 (1732) This Indenture made th
is 19th Day of March in the year of our Lord God one thousand se
ven hundred & thirty two Between William Maxey of Goochland Coun
ty & Mary his wife on the one part & Peter Dep of the said Count
y on the other part Witnesseth that whereas the saidWilliam Max
ey & Mary his wife for & in Consideration of the sum of five shi
llings Currant money of Virginia to them or one of them at & bef
ore the ensealing & delivery of these presents (the said Dep) i
n hand paid the recit whereof the sd William Maxey & Mary do ack
nowledge have bargained & sold & _______ presents bargain & sel
l unto the said Peter Dep his Executors & Administrators & Assig
ns one tract or parcil of land containing one hundred acers of l
and more or less sittuated & being on the South side of James Ri
ver in Goochland County & bounded as follooth Beginning at a Re
d Oak joyning upon Edward Maxey & Nath.l Maxeys to a Corner Hick
ory joyning upon the said Edward Maxey so to a Corner Ash joyini
ng upon William Maxey then to a Spanish Oak joyning upon the sai
d Wm Maxey & Nathl Maxey to the place began at To have and to ho
ld the said land & premisses with the appertanances unto the sai
d Peter Dep his Executors Adm & Assigns from the Day set befor
