Was Lister after as o f Sherborn, but at Medfield died either 10 Jan 1682/83 or 6 Apri l 1683 in Mefield, Norfolk, Massachusetts. Possibly the latte r is the reading of the will. Marriage listed in American Marria ge Records before 1699 as Fairbanks, George and Mary Adams, 16 O ct 1646, Dedham Ma. One record shows death at Medfield, and Law son says "probably at Medfield, which is actually more likely .A couple of obvious discrepancies in file, regarding children : showed two simultaneous marraiges, One to Mary Adams and the o ther not indicating but lising Samuel 2, Elizabeth and Berry a s children. if two marriages. Unlikely. May have had c hildren by a concubine, I suppose. Scandalous for the times . I have merged the two families, but the birth records becom e a problem as both Samuels were born within two months of eac h other. and Elizabeth and Eliezer were born too close together .
