She had just turned 79 on April 6. Bertie was born in 1921 in Union, Utah, to Sarah B. North and Jo hn Grant North. She moved to Jackson Hole in1939 where she me t and married Weldon T. Richardson on May 21, 1940 in IdahoFall s and sealed in the Temple September 23, 1942. She was always a ctivein the L.D.S. Church, taught Primary, and was a den mothe r and Relief SocietyTeacher. She volunteered as a hospital pink lady, sang with the singing m others and was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers . She was the Office Manager-Receptionist at the Grand View Mot el for at least fifteen years.Earleir she was a cashier at Wel don's grocery and always worked hand in handwith her husband o f 59 years in all his business ventures. Bertie was always doing homework with her ten children. She hel ped all of them graduate fromHigh School and also encouraged th eir college years and their careers. Sheloved to sketch, draw, paint and do calligraphy.
