Mary Harrison was one of the people who signed a note to build B
utts Green Chapel, she later married Joseph Laycock, she was hi
s second wife, he died April 16 1829 at the age of 74, he was al
so a signee of the above document. I amassuming that Mary beca
use of her birth year would be a sister to Grace Harrison. She s
pent her remaining years at Lane House in Midgley after the deat
h of her husband. and died 11th November 1831 aged 65, she was k
nown to OrpahKing as Mally Laycock and did some very fine knitt
ing
