Will Dec 3 1709 of Bullclose, Halifax, Yorkshire, England He i
s described asof Halifax, "gentleman" and bequeathed to his sis
ter Pheby Hardcastle, 10 pound and 5 pounds to each of her fou
r daughter, a further 10 pound each to be paid after the death o
f testator's wife, Ann. To a nephew John King, who mustbe th
e son of testator's brother. William, 50 pounds afterdeath of sa
id wife, Ann Kinge, to whom all the residue ofhis estate was beq
ueathed. The Probate of this will was Granted in October 1712 b
y the Dean of Nottingham, which seems to indicate that the wido
w was then resident in that county.
