There passed away suddenly at her home at Channel on October 10t
h, 1974, Mrs. Elizabeth Currie, at the age of 70. She leaves t
o mournher husband George; one son Maxwell and one daughter, Es
ther (Mrs. Christopher Bragg) both at Channel; two sisters, Esth
er Ann (Mrs. Jerome Blagdon) at Coomb's Cove, Fortune Bay and Mr
s. Harriet Vallis in Ontario; three brothers, Benjamin Hepditc
h and Philip Hepditch at English Harbour West and David Hepditc
h at Fortune; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funera
l Serviceswere held at St. Michael's and All Angels Church, Ros
e Blanche on October 12th, with Rev. D. Morgan officiating. Inte
rment was in the cemetery at Rose Blanche.
