    A clergyman of the Church of England, was born in 1745, and educ
    ated at Eton and King's Col;lege, Cambridge. He was for some ti
    me undermaster of Eton, became provost of King's College in 1781
    , chaplain to the king and rector of Farnham Royal, Bucks, and d
    ied in 1791. His wors are, Poetical Essay (Lond. 1771, 4to)
