h January 1801. He left to his wife Sarah his messuage and tene
ment called Brampton in Sowerby with the house and land belongin
g thereto during her life, together withall his household good
s and furniture.
To James Walker of Sowerby, schoolmaster and John Chambers, of W
arley, worsted weaver, all his money and the residue of his pers
on estate upon trust to pay the interest therof to his wife duri
ng her life.
To the said James Walker and John chambers all his real estate a
nd household goods upon trust after the death of his wife to sel
l the same for the payment of the following legacies:
To Mary Harrison of Brampton spinster 40 pounds. To Mary Bairst
ow, wife of Thomas Bairstow of Keighley, 40 pounds. To his brot
her, John King, and to William, Charles, Titus, Mark, andJohn K
ing, sons of his brother, John King 40 pounds each.
To John, James andDaniel Helliwell, sons of his wife by her for
mer husband, and to her grand daughters, Sarah Horsfall and Mar
y Walton, all the residue of the money so raised. Proved on th
