Note	Bera III, along with his father, Sigisbert V, and grandfather, Sigisbert IV, were known as "The Hermit Princes" because they sought refuge in the caverns in a hill near Rhedae during the Saracen invasion. The carved tombstone of their common grave is today in the museum at Rennes-le-Chateau.
