After 8 years at Oxford (D.Phil. in Nuclear Physics) joined the Central Electricity Generating Board in 1967, working and living in London. Transferred to Nuclear Electric in Cheltenham in 1990 and took early retirement in 1992 (hurrah, best career move ever!). Three kids: Jamie(30), Rowley(27) and Vicky(24). Spend most of time playing music; organise and arrange music for a 20 piece clarinet ensemble. In 1970's played in an experimental music group - we just released a CD last year, royalties earned so far £27! (Eat your heart out Paul McCartney!). Now live in Cheltenham surrounded by my 2 youngest (will they never leave!), four beautiful Chinese students from the local university, and a cat. Remarried 11th March 2006 to Helen Yuan, aka Yuan Chun of Huizhou, Guangdong Prov, China |
