Edward Donald (Don) Crewdson of Vestal Edward Donald (Don) Crewdson, 69, of Vestal, died at Wilson Memorial Hospital after a brief illness Monday, May 23, 2005. He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Katherine Crewdson. He is survived by his wife, Marie H. Crewdson, Vestal; one daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Brian Donohue, Williston, Vt.; one step daughter and son-in-law, Susan Marie and Kerry Clawson, Burlington, Vt.; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Edward Donald Crewdson Jr., Jefferson, Vt., David Gregory and Mary Jo Crewdson, Hamburg, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, Kyle, Travis, Nicole, Ryan, Lindsay, Benjamin, Katie, and Tyler; one brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Robert and Lois Crewdson, Lexington, Va.; a sister-in-law, Carole Ann Frick, Ellicott City, Md.; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kenneth G. and Uthia Edwardson, Daytona Beach, Fla.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was an active member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, Vestal, a retired employee of GE and Lockheed Martin in Westover, where he was a Program Manager. A member of GE Elfun Society. Don was a dedicated, enthusiastic volunteer at Habitat for Humanity, B.C. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Memorial services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 401 Mirador Drive, Vestal. The Rev. Father Anthony Seel Jr. will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 E. Main St., Endicott, Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Don's memory may be made to Habitat for Humanity, Broome County, 42 Chenango Street, Binghamton, N.Y. 13901. Robert Crewdson, May 28, 2005 to all cousins) Dear Cousins, I apologize for not getting this information to you sooner, but my brother Don died at 11 PM on May 23 in Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, NY. His memorial service was held yesterday in St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Vestal, NY. The interment of ashes is tentively set for June 30th in Essex Junction, VT at the church he used to attend there. He died of leukemia. Please tell your family that I have not included because I do not have their email address. Gifts were asked to be given to Broome County Habitat for Humanity where Don did volunteer work on the Wednesday Crew. Bob
