Note	Mary is looking after a male orphan named Wallis in 1851 and her granddaughter called Alice in 1861. As Wallis was 3 and Alice was 13, I suspect that they are the same person. She would have been Alice the daughter of John and Maria Hockney who both died in late 1850, aged about 34. John Hockney was Mary's son.
