Wilder Lucas, age 69 of Duluth died August 4, 2003. He was a consultant in onsite wastewater issues specializing in regulation, compliance and legislation in Georgia and Alabama. He was a member of GA task force to draw new onsite regulations, a Past President of GA Onsite Wastewater Association, and a member of the task force that produced the GA Onsite Wastewater Technical Manual. He served his country in the U.S. Navy as a Ltjg. He is survived by his wife, Betty of 24 and a half years, daughters, Deborah Lucas, Andrea Lucard and Katrina Lucas, mother, Ruth Lucas, sister, Virginia Raycraft, 2 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 7, 2003 in the chapel of the funeral home with Father Andrew Frearson officiating. Visitation with the family will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. at R.T. Patterson Funeral Home. 770-448-2441.
