Note
|
From Lois wood: I think that my Margaret Clayton (b 1736) married Edmund Tetlow in about 1757 in Fairfield. Her parents were Thomas Clayton and Ann Staley or Staveley. I am sure you know that there were quite a few Clayton's in Fairfield; maybe your Margaret could be the daughter of one of Thomas's brothers, Robert (b 1696) or Ralph (b 1701), or even of Thomas's eldest son (and my Margaret's brother) also called Thomas (b 1716). |
