Four Killed in Crash

Four members of an Urbana family were killed in a head-on crash on a Wabash County road northwest of here last night.
Wabash County Deputy Sheriff Richard White said all four were dead at the scene of the 7:15pm crash on Wabash County Road 200N, one-quarter mile west of Ind. 13.
Dead are:
James Getz, 35, Rt 1, Urbana
His wife, Ann, 34, and their daughters
Marqueta, 15 and
Monica, 8
White said a station wagon was headed east on 200N at a high rate of speed and crossed the center line, colliding head-on with a car driven by Getz, en route on 200N.
White said the road accident site was flat and neither driver's vision should have been obstructed.
The other driver was treated and released from Wabash County Hospital.
The accident was still under investigation last night by Indiana State Police and the Wabash County Sheriff's Department.
The deaths raised Indiana's 1976 highway death toll to 452 compared to 362 last year.
