The Hadwen Family of Lancashire

I have via an Australian member of the extended family have traced Catherine otherwise Katherine Barrie Highton to Australia. She married one David Alan Chapman in Trinidad and with him and three sons left Trinidad to Perth in Australia. Sadly Barrie died a few years ago but her husband is still alive in his 90s. I placed a message on a Group Facebook page called Pointe A Pierre, under the flicker of the Flares. - I asked if anyone knew where Barrie was since Trinidad. I got an answer from one Christine Barton who told me that Barrie married her father's brother and went to Aus in 1972. She then told me her family followed there in 1974. As for Barrie's brother, Joseph William Highton, married and lived and died in Barbados, I think with four children. I found online with the help of the Australia lady researcher. an obituary for Joseph William Highton "Bill" he died in 2017. On this it gave his wife's name (maybe a second wife?) and children's names and grandchildren's names, their first names.. I also found via the net, One daughter named Wendy Joanne Spencer (married a Bob) she is on the internet website as a photographer. I sent her a message but got no reply. I goodled her brother. Alan Highton, He married a girl from Venezuela and lived near where I once lived but earlier on Lake Maracaibo he lived there for 37 years. But moved to Barbados in recent years no doubt to escape the political situation Venezuela is now in. Alan is also a photograph and during the years in Venezuela he did tours to the lightening Capital of the world, as it is called Catatumbo lightening capital of the World. If you google his name you can see videos featuring Alan and Others plus many photographs. He can also be found as Alan Highton Barbados tours. I wrote a message on his instagram page explaining i went to school with his father and Barrie in Trinidad but also I too lived on Lake Maracaibo in Lagunillas and went to Lodge School in Barbados. He replied twice but hopefully he is busy and has not got back to me again. Unless his interest with communicating with me has gone.. ? Anyway I thought you may wish to know this. I did ask him about Kenneth and Mary his grandparents to which he didn't know the answer so is asking his mother. Yet too to hear back regarding that. The Australian researcher confirmed that Kenneth's sister Rachel ? married a first cousin and gave me the name. She is somehow related via marriages to Rachel's husband? I have not got the answer to that. Her name is Wendy Ross. I think maybe too much information but thought you may wish to know. Oh add believe Kenneth and wife died in Trinidad. regards Richard
