Note
|
According to one genealogy, Mrs. Mary Bowman's brother Thomas lived at Waterside and at Buttergill. He is recorded as the father of sons Thomas, William, Edmund, Richard and Stephen. A note underneath suggests that they emigrated to USA Thomas of Waterisde disappeared from the parish records sooon after the tithe survey of 1833, and may have gone to America. He cannot be traced to South Australia, but sons of the last four names can. |
