A HOME PARTY To Celebrate Birthday Mr. and Mrs. C Mold gave a jolly party last Friday evening in honour of the 18th birthday of their son Fred. The dance room and supper room were gaily decorated with Chinese lanterns and coloured streamers, the supper table having pink stocks and tulips in tall silver vases as further decoration. At supper time, after Rev. A. H. Roake had expressed to the guest of honour the good wishes of those present, the birthday cake was cut. Mr. and Mrs. Mold were helped in entertaining their guests by their daughter, Mrs. R. G. Saunders, who came up from Zeehan especially to be present. Those who accepted invitations included, Mesdames P.J. Dell, J. L. Durne, J. Mansey, (who kindly played the music for games and dancing). Misses K. Huxtable (Zeehan), R. Hedington, Joyce and Phyllis Walker, Edna Brooks, Kath Walters, Jean Douglas, Beverley Cox, Rev. A. H. Roake. Messrs Norman Gerrard, Viv Berresford, Bob Douglas, Ken Wilson, Bob Wilson, Don Little, Edga Barratt and Eddie Fleming. |
