Fitton 84, of Attleboro, died Monday in the Catholic Memorial Home, Fall River. She was the wife of the late Elmer R. Fitton. Mrs. Fitton was born in Fall River. She was a 1934 graduate of Attleboro High School. She had lived in Attleboro most of her life and was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. She was a bookkeeper for the Standard Plastics Company of Attleboro for many years before retiring. Surviving are a son, David T. Fitton of Kill Devil Hills, N.C.; two sisters, Carole Adams of Bourne and Florence Simmons of Barefoot Bay, Fla.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday from the Cook Funeral Home, 160 Park Street, Attleboro, followed at 9 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Church, 133 North Main Street, Attleboro. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, West Street, Attleboro. Visiting hours are 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 36 Cameron Ave., Cambridge, MA 02140-1102

She was the wife of the late Elmer R. Fitton.

Mrs. Fitton was born in Fall River. She was a 1934 graduate of Attleboro High School. She had lived in Attleboro most of her life and was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church. She was a bookkeeper for the Standard Plastics Company of Attleboro for many years before retiring.
