Mrs. Upchurch Taken By Death

Mrs. Birdie May Upchurch, 62, native of Jewett, Texas, died at the Overton Hospital last night at 7:50 after a lingering illness. She had resided at Teague for some time and came to Overton for medical treatment.Funeral service will be conduct­ed at the Assembly of God`r Church in Overton Thursday af­ternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Chas. Lunsford officiating. Pearson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Interment will take place in the Mason cemetery, be­tween Overton and Arp.

Surviving Mrs. Upchurch are two sons, E. E. Sanders of Over­ton and Stanley Sanders of Hum­ble, Texas; four brothers and four sisters.
