Note	Althea (Mimi) Marie Johnson Sorensen was born June 23, 1920 and passed away peacefully on January 14, 2010. Mimi is survived by her brothers Donald Johnson and Wally Boggess; by her daughters Sharon Furner and Suzanne Wille; by seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She received her BS and MS degrees from the University of Utah and was inducted into the honorary Delta Kappa Gamma Society. Mimi served as President of the Murray Education Association and taught fifth grade at Liberty Elementary and Holiday Elementary for more than 17 years. Thereafter, Mimi was the 'Learning Specialist' at Cottonwood Elementary for many years prior to her retirement to St. George, Utah. Mimi was active and beautiful. She most loved learning and teaching. She employed her intelligence in all things including bridge. Mimi enjoyed golf, skiing and boating with her beloved spouse of 56 years, Dale Frank Sorensen, whom preceded her passing in 1996. At her request, graveside services will be held at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 E. 10600 S. at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 23, 2010
