Bessie C. Darrah

Bessie Hacking Cannon Darrah, 70, of Henderson, Nev., died Oct. 12, 1996 at the Davis County Hospital. She was born Aug. 11, 1926 in Cedar Fort to Wayne Ezra and Fannie Arvilla Berry Hacking. She married Willard Hunt Cannon March 6, 1945 in thee Salt Lake LDS Temple. She married Leonard Hoke Darrah in November 1973. He died in November 1995 in Henderson Nev.

She lived throughout her life in various places in Utah and Nevada, settling in Las Vegas and Henderson. She loved fishing, Camping trips and hunting with her family. She was an artist and was talented in crafts.

She is survived by four sons: Willard E. (Christine) Cannon, Tutland, Mass.; Darwin B. Cannon and Gary W. (Louise) Cannon, both of Clearfield; Dennis B. (Natalie) Cannon, Roy; daughter-in law, Shirley Currier, American Fork; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother and sisters; Bruce (Georgian) Hacking, Cedar Fort; Leah (John) Gale, Brigham City; Lujeanne (Gary) Holmstead, Littleton, Colo. She was preceded in death by a son, Barry Trent Cannon.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. in the Cedar Valley LDS Chapel. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Cedar Fort Cemetery.
