Hacking Called By Death, Funeral Saturday - Wayne Ezra Hacking, 66, Cedar Fort native and lifelong resident died Monday, Sept. 11, at 6:10 p.m., of natural causes in a Salt Lake City hospital, after an illness. He was a long time welder and a retired employee of the Tooele Army Depot. Mr. Hacking was born May 11, 1901, in Cedar Fort, a son of Orson Ezra and Ida Brown Hacking. He was married to Fannie Arvilla Berry June 29, 1921, in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a member of the Cedar Valley Ward Elder's Quorum. He is survived by his wife, one son and four daughters - Bruce Wayne Hacking, Cedar Fort; Mrs. William M. (Gayle) Jorgensen, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Willard H. (Bessie) Cannon, Las Vegas, Nevada; Mrs. John W. (Leah) Gale, Brigham City, Utah; Mrs. Gary M. (LuJeanne) Holmstead, Littleton, Colorado; his father, Tooele; one brother, Howard C. Hacking, Tooele; two sisters, Mrs. Owen (Vinnie) Ault, Cedar Fort, and Mrs. Ben (Leah) McKinney, Fairfield; and 20 grandchildren. OBITUARY: Wayne E. Hacking Called By Death, Funeral Saturday - Wayne Ezra Hacking, 66, Cedar Fort native and lifelong resident died Monday, Sept. 11, at 6:10 p.m., of natural causes in a Salt Lake City hospital, after an illness. He was a long time welder and a retired employee of the Tooele Army Depot. Mr. Hacking was born May 11, 1901, in Cedar Fort, a son of Orson Ezra and Ida Brown Hacking. He was married to Fannie Arvilla Berry June 29, 1921, in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a member of the Cedar Valley Ward Elder's Quorum.

He is survived by his wife, one son and four daughters - Bruce Wayne Hacking, Cedar Fort; Mrs. William M. (Gayle) Jorgensen, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Willard H. (Bessie) Cannon, Las Vegas, Nevada; Mrs. John W. (Leah) Gale, Brigham City, Utah; Mrs. Gary M. (LuJeanne) Holmstead, Littleton, Colorado; his father, Tooele; one brother, Howard C. Hacking, Tooele; two sisters, Mrs. Owen (Vinnie) Ault, Cedar Fort, and Mrs. Ben (Leah) McKinney, Fairfield; and 20 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 12 noon, in the Wing Mortuary Chapel in Lehi. Friends may call at the place of Funeral Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday prior to the service. Burial will take place in the Cedar Fort cemetery.
