Deceased Name: Obituary: E. Reed Carson FAIRFIELD Born Sept. 2, 1913, Dad loved life, spending countless hours riding his mule in the mountains either hunting or just enjoying nature's beauty. But in the end, age won. Reed is preceded in death by his wife, Vera Cook, a daughter, Carolyn Butterfield; a grandson, Denton Butterfield; and a brother, Elvin Carson. Survived by wife, Carol Chapman Carson, Centerville; son-in-law, Garry Butterfield; daughters, Pat (Marvin) Cartwright, American Fork; Rita Nordstrom, Roosevelt; Cleo (Chuck) Taylor, West Jordan; sons, Vern (Carlene) Carson, Fairfield; Ned (Gayle) Carson, Pleasant Grove; brother, John Carson, American Fork; sisters, Leah Pope, Provo; Lorena (Bob) McCausland, Auburn, WA.; Virginia Nehring, Pleasant Grove; Myrtle Erickson, Fairfield; 14 Grandchildren; five Great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Cedar Fort Ward Chapel, Friday, Sept. 6, 2002 at 12:00 noon. Friends may call at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and at the Church in Cedar Fort, Friday one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Fairfield Cemetery. |
