FUNERAL RITES SLATED FOR SHOT VICTIM (Special to the Tribune) OREM--Funeral services for Paul Jeffrey Hacking, 12, 765 Sunny Lane, who was accidently killed Thursday night, will be Monday at 1 p.m. in Orem 4th Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Young Hacking was killed when a 22-caliber pistol accidentally discharged, sending a bullet through his head. He was born June 16, 1948, in Provo, a son of Wayne Briggs and Mae Lybbert Hacking. He was a member of the LDS Church, Boy Scouts of America, Troop 30 and a Little League Baseball Team. He was in the seventh grade at Lincoln Jr. High School. Survivors include his parents, brother, sisters, Douglas, Mrs. Gary (Lani) Collins, Jayne, all Orem; grandparents, Mrs. Dora Lybbert, Leathbridge, Alberta, Canada |
