Deceased Name: DEATH: DAVID L. HACKING David Lorin Hacking 42, died september 13, 1991 in Richfiels, Utah.
He was born November 17, 1948 in Vernal, Utah to Lorin Clive and Iris Rae Swain Hacking. He married Marjorie Rowley January 24, 1976 in Richfield, Utah.

He was a member of the LDS Church. Dave was raised in Vernal, Utah, graduating from Uintah High School in 1968. He attended Stevens Henager Business College and SUSC. He was a medic in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany during the Viet Nam War. He was employed by the Veterans Administration for nine years. He completed the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Apprenticeship program as a Journeyman Lineman in 1984.

He was employed at Utah Power & Light at the time of his death.

He was a member of the Sheriffs Jeep Posse Search and Rescue, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation Ducks Unlimited and the NRA. He was an avid hunter and boater as well as a devoted husband and father.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters and one son, Lela Noelle Hacking, Thayne David Hacking, and Tanielle Marion Hacking, all of Richfield; parents, Vernal; grandmother, Marion Swain, Vernal; brothers and sisters, Cole and wife DeAnne Hacking, Vernal; Ann and husband Sam Poff, Vernal; parents-in-law, William and Ruth R. Rowley, Richfield; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ann R. and husband Jerry A. Smith, Las Vegas, Nev.; Thalma Jean Rowley, Richfield. Also survived by four nieces and seven nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 1991, at 4:00 p.m. in the Richfield 4th LDS Ward Chapel, 159 North 400 West. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield, Monday evening, from 7-9 p.m. and again on Tuesday afternoon form 2:30 - 3:30. Burial and graveside services will be held on Wednesday, at 1:00 p.m. in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery in Maeser, Utah. Funeral directors, Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield.
