Ralphena Hacking--Funeral services were held Tuesday at Olpin Family mortuary. Pleasant Grove, for Ralphena Hacking, 81, who died at her home in American Fork on March 3. 1989. She was born August 29, 1907 in Vernal to William Ralph and Mable Gerber Hacking. She received her early education in Vernal. She attended BYU and a business school in Long Beach, California. She lived in Provo, St. George, Salt Lake, and recently in Lehi and American Fork. She was an ardent and diligent genealogist, extending several family lines to the 13th century. She did much research on the Moroni Berber, Norton Jacob, William [and James] Hacking and Glines lines, completing research for thousands of her kin. She also did temple work. She is survived by an aunt, Mrs. Frank ((Helen) Jones, Lehi; nephews: Calvin Jacob, Orem; William Taylor, Los Altos, California; Harold Taylor, Washington, D.C.; Reed Taylor, Columbus, Ohio.
