She was baptized September 4, 1839, at Preston, Lancashire, England, emigrated to St. Louis in 1850, came to Utah in 1856. She kept an "open house' for the Elders while in her native land. The deceased leaves three children to mourn her loss. She lived and died a faithful Latter-Day Saint in the hope of a glorious resurrection.
