Note	Sue M. Thurlow, 66, of Lapeer died Wednesday, January 23, 2008. She was born August 24, 1941 in Flint, Michigan to John and Leona (Wadsworth) Shepherd. She married John R. Thurlow on August 8, 1960 in Davison, Michigan. Mrs. Thurlow worked at Finsterwald’s in Downtown Lapeer for 20 years, then for Oakdale for 11 years, retiring in 1991. Sue was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, many church activities and was a foster parent. For many years Mrs. Thurlow was a foster parent and catered dinners at the American Legion in Lapeer for many years. She is survived by her husband, John “Jack” Thurlow of Lapeer; children, LeeAnna (Mike) Snipes, John (Loretta) Thurlow, Jeanette (Lee) Diffenderfer and Bonnie (Ben) Warren; father, John (Sandy Chapman) Shepherd; grandchildren, Diane, Jennifer, Andrea, Heidi, Christopher, Ben, DeLany, John S., Jessica, Miranda, Emily and Lee; Great-Grandchildren, Faith, Samantha, Grace andAshley; sister, Julie (Brad) Shepherd-Jacokes; nieces, Meghan and Michelle; and sister-in-law, Suzie Shepherd.
