Note
|
I, Michael Sareein spoke to him of his father and all he remembers is seeing off a soldier at the train Station in full uniform, a sergeant he thought. his birth certificate shows him to be a Barrister at Law. - this may have been Albert Campbell Edwards, who joined up went through the ranks to be a sargeant before being commissioned. per Betty Dunstan one of his earliest memories was in 1919 sitting on the Railway bridge watching the soldiers coming home after the demob waiting for his father to turn up. Ken used to do the books for Morris Birth cert was of Kenneth Ruskin Campbell. He grew up as Kenneth Donald Sareen and then prior to his marriage changed it by statutory declaration back to Kenneth Ruskin Campbell. He started working for a company in Ealing known as J W Walker & Son, organ makers, eventually retiring as Chairman and managing director of the company when he was 70. His father was almost certainly Abraham Sareen. Suffered from Alzheimers. Cremated at Ruislip 8/12 |
