1640-1643 Robert Wright, Robert Rymer, William Watkinson, and James Moss complain against Richard Boond the elder of Banks and John Ball of Blowicke in a plea that they render them a reasonable account of the time when, etc. Defendant Ball says that he paid Hugh Rymer 7s. which he has acknowledged. Defendant Boond acknowledged 3s. 4d., and for 3s. 8d. the remainder, upon an account, before four men for the manor aforesaid.The same complain against Edward Howard of Churchtowne and John Rymer of Blowicke in a plea that they render them a reasonable account of the time when, etc. Defandants appeared in court by proxy, and departed in contempt of court. Jurors declare for the plaintiff 14s. Cost 1d. |
