Note
|
in 1881, Samuel was living in New Mills with Catharine and 10 stepchildren including John James Marriott. They had one daughter early in 1882 before Catharine died, possibly in childbirtth in 1883. Samuel married Sarah Cook who had one illigitimate son called Fred. They had 5 children but only one called Annie survived into adulthood. Cathrine's maiden name was probably Goddard. 1891 census Furness Vale, Yeardsley cum Whaley, Cheshire Samuel WRIGHT Head M 31 Male General Labourer Furness Vale, Cheshire 1901 census 24 Buxton Road, Furness Vale, Yeardsley cum Whaley, Cheshire Samuel WRIGHT Head M 42 Male Calico Printer Labourer Taxal, Cheshire 1911 census Furness Vale, Yeardsley cum Whaley, Cheshire 4 rooms Samuel WRIGHT Head M 52 Male Calico Print Works Labourer Furness Vale, Cheshire |
