History told by Soon-hee Kim Suh Our grandparents' third child was a son, Kim Bong-yoon, who was the oldest male. He graduated elementary school and learned to read and write Chinese characters. Then he was able to get a job in tobacco bureau office. He supported his family for a while but then moved out to a town called Yun-An. Our father remembered his son's name as Jae-duk, his daughter's as Sook-hyun and did not remember the other children. I believe he had more than two children. He and his family resided in North Korea. |
